Create a website for your fundraising event using Joomla, an open source content management system. Because Joomla is an open source solution, it is freely available to everyone. Your in-house IT staff might be able to do this, you can hire someone else to do it, or we can do it for you.  Joomla is highly customizable and allows for various levels of content management.  The default installation comes with a template, but there are many other templates to choose from as well.  As with any website, you will want to be sure and have someone monitor security vulnerabilities for your Joomla site.
